Dietrich Hesling is the son of the owner of a paper mill in the small town of Nevada. From an early age, he bullied the weak and the hard, afraid of power, and pursued power. He likes to snitch in front of his teacher and is happy to see others criticized. After he went to boarding school, he had more contact with girls. When he got his love, he refused to marry him because she had another suitor because he thought it was not pure enough. He also got his doctorate. But not for employment or academic research, but to pursue the power of money. After his father died, he succeeded his father as the owner of the paper mill. He took the helm at the helm of the wind, dealing with liberals and social people. "servants" is Henrikman's masterpiece of critical realistic literature. The director tried to make a revelation of human nature through the film. Through the ingenious montage and the overlap of the picture, it makes a merciless satire on the "servant spirit". When showing the servility of Diedrich Hesling, he used, using the overlooking camera, to shrink him to the size of a maggot when he knelt close to the emperor. When showing him deceiving others with power, he also used the camera to look up at him to magnify him as a giant, a typical engraving of the servile and humble German citizens of the imperial era.
