The film is based on the director, original, script, and starring stage play "Men born in Tokyo Olympic Games" in 2011, which tells the story of the protagonist Quanichi Akita (Guangliang Uemura), who was born in 1964 in the year of the Tokyo Olympic Games. Because he won the race championship in his youth, he was eager to reach the world's highest podium and fight for it. Akita Koichi won the first prize in all fields, such as painting or calligraphy, but he never recovered in high school and suffered setbacks. Therefore, as an opportunity, Akita was played by students of the opposite sex such as Baishi Mengge.
