Map of the Human Heart (1992)

The story begins in 1964, when Awei (Li Dai) lived in the primeval rainforest from an early age, never accepted the baptism of civilization, and did not know the existence of human society and its rules. One day, Avi meets a cartographer named Walter (John Cusack John Cusack) by chance. Walter is surprised by his discovery and decides to bring the child back to civilization. At first, the suddenly changing living environment made Avi feel very uncomfortable, and no one wanted to be friends with wild kids like him. At school, he met Aberdeen (Anna Palerio Anne Parillaud), a girl of Indian descent, who became his first friend. In the end, Avi chose to return to his hometown and became a hunter. In the twinkling of an eye, fate reunited him with Aberdeen.
