Marley (2012)
The film is a music documentary about the Jamaican national hero Bob Marley (Bob Marley), the godfather of reggae. As early as 2009, Martin Scorsese was scheduled to direct the film by Weinstein, an American production company, and it was scheduled for release on February 6, 2010, which coincided with Marley's 65th birthday. Scorsese, who directed the Bob Dylan documentary "No Direction Home" and the Rolling Stones documentary "Shine A Light", was the ideal director, but he left the film because of schedule conflicts. Jonathan Demi of Silence of the Lambs, who directed Jimmy Carter and Neil, was appointed as the second director. Music documentaries by Yang, Bruce Springsteen, the Pretenders and others, but he finally left the film in May 2009 because of a disagreement with producer Steve Bing. The third director is an Englishman Kevin MacDonald, whose works include "the Last King of Scotland" as well as "Ice Peak 168 hours".
