In 1942, when World War II was in full swing, Japan was invincible and invincible in all battlefields in Asia. A Japanese prisoner-of-war detention center stands in the tropical jungle of Java, where army lieutenant Ishimoto (Sakamoto Takeshi) and staff Sergeant Ohara (Takeshi Kitano) jointly manage the detention center. Ohara's style is rude and ruthless. He never shows mercy to prisoners of war in Europe and the United States, but is even more cruel to those with homosexual tendencies.
