In 1942, when World War II was in full swing, Japan was invincible and invincible in all battlefields in Asia. A Japanese prisoner-of-war detention center stands in the tropical jungle of Java, where army lieutenant Ishimoto (Sakamoto Takeshi) and staff Sergeant Ohara (Takeshi Kitano) jointly manage the detention center.
