Midnight Bayou (2009)

In 2001, New Orleans Carnival Night. Declan Fitzpatrick (Jerry O'Connell), a lawyer from Boston, encounters a strange experience in an abandoned villa at midnight. Eight years later, on the eve of Sachmund's Day, the frustrated Declan returned to New Orleans and bought the legendary haunted villa. On the day of the move, Declan became acquainted with the beautiful girl next door, Lena (Lauren Stamile), and made a good impression on each other. However, this good feeling did not last long. Declan soon found traces of people living in the house, and there was a strange noise at night, followed by an incredible phantom. In the phantom, he saw the beautiful maid, the battle for the inheritance of the rich family, the broken and misplaced love. All this seems to be closely related to the history of the villa. Declan was unwittingly involved.
