Moonfleet (1955)

German director Fritz Lan went to the United States to shoot adventurous action films in the 1950s, set in the middle industry of the 18th century. Stuart. Granger plays a bohemian pirate who becomes the guardian of a little boy. He doesn't want any trouble, so he sends the child to school, but later finds out that he is the heir to a legendary diamond. He happily accompanies the little orphan to look for the gem and is ready to take it for himself. But during the journey, the child's memory of his mother slowly moved the pirate, and finally he found his conscience and returned the diamond to its original owner. Although this entertainment film can not be compared with some of Fritz Lang's pre-war classics, it is still quite lively and fluent, with the leading actor acting especially well.
