More Than a Game (2008)

The story begins in a dilapidated gymnasium on Maple Street, where LeBron James and his three friends begin their basketball journey. In order to realize their dream of a national championship, the four men persevere from elementary school to high school. In the process, they are looked down upon, sought after, have the best part, have had troughs. As the English title of the film says, it's not just a game, it's about the youth of James and his friends: about dreams, about friendship, about growth. The film is a biography of LeBron James and the first film of Christopher Behrman (Kristopher Belman), who is a director, producer and screenwriter.
