Jennifer is a 17-year-old unhealthy punk teenager who killed herself by piercing, tattooing, wearing only black clothes and dyed hair. She misses her father and normal mother because Mrs. Benson has trouble communicating with her and feels absolutely rejected. While looking for a job, she met 49-year-old Randall Harris (Randall Harris), a lonely man who owned a store and hired her. They are opposed to each other, but lonely and lack of friends. They become close friends, and while revealing secrets and feelings, their interaction changes their behavior.
