Bernard (Jailall de Padiyo G é rard Depardieu) and Catherine (Fanny Aldan Fanny Ardant) are a middle-class couple with many friends and hospitality, but there seems to be something wrong with their relationship. On Catherine's birthday, Bernard didn't make it back in time for the party. The next day, an ambiguous message on her husband's cell phone made Catherine suspicious again. After that, he goes to a club and finds the stripper Marina (played by Emmanuel Bea Emmanuelle B é art). Marina earns extra money as a private detective after work. She accepts Catherine's commission to test Bernard under the pseudonym of Natalie. In the days that followed, Natalie kept reporting to Catherine about the progress of her relationship with Bernard, which nearly collapsed Catherine's trust in her husband.
