In the summer of 1967, Katarina, a female journalist living in Munich, welcomed her French friend Anne. They shuttled between coffee shops, met many acquaintances and started a series of conversations. Starting from these dialogues, the film shows the friendship of all kinds of women, as well as tit-for-tat confrontation between men and women, and then discusses the possibility of women's liberation. In the German New Film Movement, this film about five women and their life ideas is called the first truly feminist film in Germany.
