Our hero (Lloyd) is fascinated by the girl in the next office. In order to inspire her boss, the orthopedic surgeon, he established a reputation by asking an actor friend to pretend that the doctor "healed" the wound. When he learned that his girl was going to marry someone else, he decided to kill himself and spent most of the time on exciting failed attempts.
