There is a terrible legend in the family of the famous physicist Moyelong (played by Fu Ming Fan Tailang) that anyone who has seen a rainbow man will eventually die. Even so, Dragon still devotes himself to the study of artificial rainbows. One day, a fire broke out in a wooden villa built by long in the mountains, and his disciple Kan Baro was confirmed to have been killed. However, according to the investigation at the scene, Kan Ba Lang had been stabbed to death before the fire. In the end, the niece of Shimanzi, the wife of Shimanzi (Hirai Qidaiko), was arrested by the police as a suspect. Showa Daily's female reporter Miyagi (Yoshikazi) does not believe that her friend Yurizhi is a murderer, and she and her colleagues accompany the police to visit the eccentric Moye family with many secrets. In the process, people have been killed because of Hong Man. This film is based on Yukio Takagawa's original work and is known as Japan's first natural color film.
