Roger (Gary Grant Cary Grant) is an ordinary advertiser who recently got into a lot of trouble-he was mistaken for a man named "Caplin" and was drunk and put in a car with the intention of causing a car crash. Roger escaped. This strange experience made Roger scared and curious. In order to prove his innocence, he had to find out the real "Caplin". Bad luck is haunting Roger. He managed to get rid of the chase all the way, following Caplin's lead for thousands of miles. He jumps on a train bound for Chicago, where he meets Angela Cando (Eva Marie Eva Marie Saint) and is willing to give him a hand. He was about to make an appointment with Caplin, but things made waves again-not only did he not see Caplin, but he was caught in another crisis. The truth is becoming more and more complicated and confusing, and the statue of the president of Mount Rushmore has become a big stage for a life-and-death struggle.
