Frank Santer (Steve Martin) is a private dentist who lives a happy life with his girlfriend Laura Dunn. It's a decent job in the United States. But who would have thought that disaster had befallen him. One day, a female patient named Susan Ivy (Helena Bonham Carter) came to Frank's private clinic to see the dentist. At first, Frank only knew that the woman was dependent on painkillers, but soon he found that the drugs in the clinic began to be lost, and he became wanted by the police for smuggling drugs. Obviously, Frank was taken advantage of by Susan. All he has to do now is to go deep into the tiger's den and collect evidence to prove his innocence.
