Fernando, a lonely ornithologist and atheist, traveled along a river in northern Portugal in search of endangered black storks, but was washed away by rapids and rescued by two Chinese pilgrims. Then he fell into a dark and strange jungle and gradually escaped into a series of incredible events, and reality was permeated by fantasy.
