Objectified (2009)

"aspects of Design", directed by independent producer Gary Hustwit, is a long independent documentary with the theme of industrial design. The film shows a detailed documentary of the process of creating industrial products and records conversations and discussions with the world's top designers. Director Gary Hustwit uses insightful shots to record these industrial design products that can be seen everywhere around us, but behind the seemingly ordinary design is the good intentions of the designers. The designers interviewed in "Design aspects" include Paola Antonelli, curator of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, Chris Bangle, chief designer of BMW in Munich, Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, design group of Paris Brothers, and Andrew Blauvelt, graphic designer of Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, USA, and other most influential designers in the world. Their designs are slowly changing our lives, prompting us to think more and more.
