The story takes place in the distant future, a mysterious virus attacked the earth, and all human beings over the age of 13 became extinct, but for those children who survived, being alive does not mean luck. The vampires born out of nowhere became the rulers of the earth, and these children were "raised" as their rations. Yoichiro (voice free to enter the field) and Migal (voice of Kenichi Ono) are unwilling to bow to fate. In order to resist, Yuichiro joined the Japanese Imperial Ghost Army and became a member of the Moon Ghost Group. There, Yuichiro met the maverick Sashiya (voiced by Sha Zhi), the kind and weak Zaishi and Yoshihiko Okamoto (voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto), the gentle Yoshi Fang (voiced by Ishikawa) and the careless Sanye (voiced by Yuka Iguchi), and the five became comrades-in-arms of life and death.
