This film is the closing film of the Toronto Film Festival. Johnny Worricker (Bill Nye Bill Nighy) worked diligently but steadily at MI5 (MI5) for many years. Until one day, his best friend and boss Benedict Baron (Michael Gamben Michael Gambon) dies suddenly, and the only clue is an inexplicable document he left behind. When Johnny finished reading these documents, he was deeply shocked by the contents. It revealed a lot of inside information and even had the ability to shake the whole MI5. Johnny was forced to leave his job because of Benedict's death, and his only goal was to unravel the truth of the incident and find out the real cause of death of his friend. Meanwhile, Johnny's new neighbor, pretty Nancy (Rachel Weizi Rachel Weisz), seems to have a different interest and concern for him. Who is the true identity of Nancy? can Johnny really find out the real answer on his own?
