Painted Skin (1992)
Wang Sheng (played by Zheng Shaoqiu), a failed scholar, has been married for many years and has nothing to do with it. One day while on the way home from the city, I met a beautiful young woman You Feng (played by Wang Zuxian). Feng claimed that she had a poor background and was forced to marry into a large household as a concubine. She was abused by the main family, so she risked her life and ran away. The king was loyal to her and was willing to let Feng live in her book temporarily. That night, the king wanted to have sex with Feng. Suddenly, the sky broke. Feng said that he was not feeling well and refused the king's request. The next day, the king went to the city to buy rouge and gouache, hoping to present maple to please him. He met Taoist Yuqing (played by Liu Xun), who accused the king of evil spirits, but the king ignored him. When Wang returned home, he expressed his intention to marry Feng as his concubine. Chen took advantage of Feng's clothes and bathing. Chen saw Feng taking off his face and drawing rouge from the window. He was so scared that he fainted. Wang even rushed to Yuqing Taoist Temple to ask the Taoist priest to eliminate the devil. Yuqing brushed a piece of dust to the king and asked him to hang it outside the bedroom door. He made plans again, but Feng sneaked into the room and complained to the king about the painful experiences in his previous life...
