"Pandora's promise" produced by Robert Stone at the annual Sundance Independent Film Festival in Utah has won the most widespread controversy and criticism. Because in an almost impossible subversive shooting technique, the documentary records how some of the most radical and well-known environmentalists, from extreme radical opposition, risked their career and reputation to come forward and re-endorse the development of nuclear power. Since the Fukushima nuclear power plant accident in Japan, public fear of nuclear power plant safety has reached a new peak after the Chernobyl nuclear power accident. In 2011, almost all environmentalists agreed that nuclear power is a dangerous industry that will lead to more diseases and deaths, meaning worse environmental damage and damage. At that time, nuclear power accounted for nearly 1/5 of all US electricity generation and nearly 1/4 of Germany's total electricity generation, while in China, it accounted for less than 2 per cent. But two years after the Fukushima incident, people suddenly found that abandoning nuclear weapons does not ensure a safer and better environment as expected, at least not at this stage. Surprisingly, although the proportion of renewable energy is increasing.
