Paradise Now (2005)

Ke Hanley (Ali Suliman) and Thad (Kais Nashif) are a pair of good friends who grew up together. These two warm-blooded youths are trained in suicide bombers in a Tel Aviv resistance group, and their parents and relatives don't know about it. After the training, they will strap concealed bombs on their bodies and cross the Israeli-Palestinian border to carry out a glorious mission with no way back. This film won the Blue Angel Award at the 2005 Berlin International Film Festival, the Amnesty International Film Award, the Best Screenplay Award at the 2005 European Film Awards, the Best Foreign language Film Award at the 63rd Golden Globe Awards, the Best Foreign language Film Award from the Dallas Film critics Association in 2006, the Best Foreign language plot trailer Award at the 2006 Film trailer Award, and the Best Foreign language Film Award at the Independent Spirit Award in 2005.
