This film is also called "Crazy Ray". Rene Clare's feature debut after the avant-garde no-plot show-off [interval], a science fiction short film. A scientist has invented a sleeping ray that makes everyone in Paris stand still, except himself and his niece, the caretaker of the Eiffel Tower and several passengers on the plane. The whole of Paris belongs to them. So this group of bourgeois men and women began their own adventures as the only people who could act in Paris. The end of the film is very interesting.
