One of the first films about AIDS to be released, and the only one directed by Bill Shcrwood, died of AIDS complications in 1990. Tell the story of a homosexual with AIDS. Compared with the films of the same era, "parting Eye" does not have the academic look of "classmate love" or the argument of "Philadelphia Story". It only has a sad but not sad, touching but not affected script, a group of flesh and blood, true feelings to the sex of ordinary people. One 24-hour day, Mike held a party for his partner Robert, who had lived together for six years, ostensibly to send him to Africa to take office, but actually to put an end to their relationship. On the other hand, Mike's ex-boyfriend Nick is dying of AIDS. Mike is still obsessed with him. This is not a tragic film we imagined, because it is not explained from the perspective of the bystander, but the true feelings of the parties, so it brings people understanding and moved, and the ending is very relieved. Somehow, the director seemed to describe his feelings about life. Four years after shooting the film, he died of AIDS at the age of 38. It is worth mentioning that actor Steve Basmi is the best actor in Hollywood.
