Patlabor 2: The Movie (1993)

In the winter of 2002, the Yokohama Bridge was suddenly bombed by fighter jets. Although the media reported that it was carried out by a self-Defense Force fighter plane, in fact the fighter plane did not exist. There is widespread mistrust of the self-Defense Forces. Captain Goto (voiced by Takesuke Obayashi), the second team of Special car Class II, sensed that the incident had something to do with Zhe Zhi, a member of the self-Defense Forces who went missing in 1999. The robot team of Japan's ground self-Defense Forces was wiped out in a United Nations peacekeeping operation. And Zhe Zhi is the original lover of Nan Yun (voiced by Ryoko Hasahara), the captain of the first team of Special car Class 2. Public mistrust has reached its peak, Tokyo, which is under martial law, faces great riots and people are shrouded in the crisis of impending war. With the help of Arakawa, an ace member of the self-Defense Forces, Goto (voiced by Takesuke Obayashi) and Nanyun traced the whereabouts of Zhe Zhi. Goto summoned the original members of Special car Class 2, such as Qiquan (voiced by Fuyong Mei Inai) and Yoshihara (voiced by Furukawa), and activated the PATLABOR robot to attack the base area of Zhe Zhi. This film is the second theatrical version of Mobile Police PATLABOR released by director Asui.
