Engineer Jennings (Ben Affleck Ben Affleck) is a high-tech genius. He was repeatedly employed in various projects and was well paid, but in order to keep it a high degree of secrecy, the condition was that his short-term memory was deleted after completion. Jennings was paid a sky-high price for his mission, and he had to spend years on the new product development. When the product was finished, something unexpected happened. Instead of being paid as promised, Jennings was replaced by an envelope containing a statement of his voluntary waiver. Jennings was so surprised that when he tried to find out, he found that the trouble was getting bigger and bigger. The bosses of the FBI and the company are after him and want to kill him. This series of mysterious events made Jennings believe that there must be an unknown truth behind it. Sure enough, a thorough plot gradually surfaced with his pursuit.
