In the 18th century, Jean-Maptiste Grenouille (Ben Weishaw Ben Whishaw) was born in the fish market, the dirtiest and most smelly place in Paris. Grenouille was born with an amazing gift for odors: he remembered them all, whether they were smelly or fragrant, and could easily tell them apart. When he was the orphan dean until the age of 13, he was sold by the dean to the cobbler. Grenouille lives a life like a dog or a horse in a leather shop. By coincidence, Grenouille showed his extraordinary talent in front of Baldini and entered the perfume shop to work. But Grenouille is not only content with making the most fragrant perfume in the world, he dreams of learning how to preserve the smell of all things. Baldini told Grenouille that the perfume originated in Grasse, where people knew how to preserve the smell. Grenouille came to Grasse with a letter of recommendation from Baldini. Grenouille fell in love with the body scent of a young girl, and in order to preserve the fragrance, Grenouille finally embarked on the path of a killer.
