Leila (Karina Hassa Kaarina Hazard) is sentenced to life imprisonment for a felony, and she will spend the rest of her humble life behind bars. By chance, Leila gets a parole, but in exchange, Leila has to go to a remote town to help the local priest Father Jacob (Hechinosi Ernan Heikki Nousiainen) work. Despite a hundred reluctance in her heart, Lila had to go in order to regain her freedom. Every day, Father Jacob received countless letters asking him for repentance, and replying to these letters became Lila's main job. Through these letters, Leila gradually began to understand the entanglements and contradictions in the world, and her original narrow heart became wider and wider.
