Howe (Alan Eckhart Aaron Eckhart) and Becca (Nicole Kidman Nicole Kidman) used to live a leisurely and happy middle-class life. They were in love with each other, and their son Danny was clever and clever, but a car accident killed Danny and completely destroyed the lives of the Hovey couple.
