Romance on the High Seas (1948)
Socialite Elvira Kent suspected that her husband was fooling around with his wife behind her back. When he suggested that he could not travel with her as planned, she hired a nightclub singer and Georgia Garrett arranged for her to go on a parade. Elvira stayed in a hotel near her home so that she could spy on her husband. What she didn't realize was that her husband had hired a private detective, Peter Virgil, to monitor her every move at sea. Of course, Peter didn't realize that Georgia was not Mrs. Kent.
