The story takes place in the 1960s and tells the whole process of the life of Jerzy (Zbigniew Zapasiewicz), a famous correspondent who has been reporting on guerrilla wars and revolutions in the third World for many years. The role is based on the director's good friend, Ryszard Kapu "ci" ski, a well-known Polish writer and journalist. The film is opened by Jerzy as a guest on an entertaining talk show. When Jerzy came home that night, he found that his wife had left with a young man with her youngest daughter. Jerzy began to save his family.
