Rules Don't Apply (2016)

The story takes place in Hollywood in 1958. Mara (Lily Collins Lily Collins) is a devout Baptist who becomes the town's star because she won the beauty queen of the town. Mara aspires to be a shining star, so she comes to Los Angeles alone, finds Howard (Warren Beatty Warren Beatty) and signs up for him. Although Mara knows that Howard is a mercenary bastard, she believes that Howard's means and contacts can help her realize her dream. At the airport, Mara meets a man named Frank (Alden Ehrenreich Alden Ehrenreich). Frank had a childhood lover and the two were engaged long ago.
