Rusty Knife (1958)

In a burgeoning port city, gangs are still powerful. Although the police have carried out a series of crackdowns on representative figures Sheng and Qingji (Naoki Sugiura), they are all difficult to make progress because of lack of evidence. Sakata, an official of the Procuratorate (Changer Ani), accidentally learned that Senator Nishida, who committed suicide five years ago (Yusuke Koizumi), was inextricably related to Sheng, and three witnesses pointed out that Sheng was the killer of Nishida. In order to catch something on this bully, the procuratorate invited the witness to meet, but one of the witnesses, Shimahara (played the role of Yoshimoto), died unexpectedly on the way. In desperation, the procuratorate will hope that another witness, Orange (Yujiro Ishihara), can testify against Sheng. The young prodigal son faces not only difficult choices, but also the invasion of darkness and conspiracy. This film is based on the original work of Shintaro Ishihara.
