This film is based on the historical facts of the Wushe incident. After the Treaty of Shimonoseki ceded Taiwan in 1895, Japan took over Taiwan by force, and various parts of the island were breached one after another. Among the Sadek people in the Wushe area, Mahepo's younger generation of Monarudao (played by you Daqing) is heroic, leading the ethnic group to fight endlessly with the Ganzhuwan people.
