Sanctum (2011)

In a rare pristine jungle hinterland somewhere in Papua New Guinea, there is a huge cave known as the mother of caves-Isaala. The wealthy explorer Carl (Ioan Gruffudd) spends a lot of money and hires Frank (Richard Roxburgh) and his team with rich experience in cave exploration to explore the area. In the twinkling of an eye, several months have passed, and although the exploration of Isa Allah has been fruitful, the progress is still slow. At the same time, a severe tropical storm is coming and cave exploration is imminent. Carl quarreled with Frank, who put all his eggs in one basket and his exhausted partner Jude (Allison Cratchley) dived into the water to challenge the dangerous passageway known as the limit of the devil. On the other hand, Karl's girlfriend Victoria and Frank's son Josh also explored the cave. Little do you realize that extinction is approaching. This film is based on Andrew Wight's real experience while exploring holes in Western Australia and is shot with a 3D camera from Avatar.
