Italian woman Sandra (Claudia Katina Claudia Cardinale) takes her husband back to her hometown. The only purpose of her visit is to find out the real cause of her father's death with her brother Johnny (Jean Sorill Jean Sorel). The father of the brother and sister was persecuted by the Nazis and died in a concentration camp. Sandra and Johnny always suspected that it was their mother and her lover who betrayed their father to the Nazis, and now the stepfather of the two brothers. In fact, Sandra and Johnny also have a dark past, in the bud, they once had the intimate behavior of violating ethics and morality. Now, Sandra is no longer willing to recall her ignorance and innocence, but Johnny is obsessed with the past and even tries to make it happen again. Angry Sandra refused her brother's request, and in grief and despair, Johnny did something that made the whole family repent.
