Louis (Meg Ryan Meg Ryan) is an excellent lawyer who returns to her small town a day early to surprise her husband Ian (Timothy Hutton Timothy Hutton), who has just returned from Chicago. Looking at the scattered rose petals all over the floor, Louis was so overjoyed that he thought it was his husband's little surprise, but found that he had become a stumbling block to the elopement of his husband and the other woman (Kristen Bell Kristen Bell). Louis did not intend to let go easily because she was convinced that her husband was still in love with her. After accidentally knocking her husband Ian unconscious, Louis kidnapped her husband. Louis first stabilized the mistress who came to him, and then launched a strategy of "hard and soft" to her husband. However, Louis's attempts to restore love did not work, and her husband was tied to the toilet until a gang of burglary criminals broke into their homes. The film was shown at the 2009 Tribeca Independent Film Festival and was highly praised by the Hollywood Reporter.
