Sinister (2012)

Ellison Oswalt (Ethan Hawk Ethan Hawke) is a famous crime writer more than a decade ago. In order to find creative inspiration, he does not hesitate to move into the murder house where the murder has occurred. Today, in order to restore the glory of the past, he once again moved into a murderous house with his wife Trish (Juliet Rylance) and his children Triff (Michael Hall D'Addario) and Ashley (Clare Foley). While tidying up the attic, he stumbled upon a family video recording the happy moments of the family in front of the house and the tragic pictures of them hanging from a tree. In the days that followed, he watched the videotape over and over again, looking for clues about the criminal and tracking down clues in every corner of the house.
