Sister My Sister (1994)

The film is adapted from real events. The story takes place in a remote French town. Christian (Julie Richardson Joely Richardson) and Lyle (Jody May Jodhi May) are two siblings, and their lonely and dependent lives from childhood have brought them into deep affection and bondage. After growing up, in order to make a living, the two sisters went to a wealthy local family to work as a maid. Although life and work were hard, as long as the two were together, they lived a stable and peaceful life. With the passage of time, the long lonely life filled Christian and Lyle with emptiness and passion, and gradually they began to learn to find emotional comfort in each other. In a job, Lyle inadvertently burns the wedding dress of hostess Denzel (Julie Waters Julie Walters). Danze is furious, which ignites the fuse of the tragedy.
