Six Feet Under (2001 - 2008)
Under the M & A monopoly of the American funeral industry, the Fisher family still strives to adhere to family service for a living. Although the founder father Nathaniel is no longer alive, his image often appears in the fantasies of his family, leaving the family business taken care of by the other four members of the family. The eldest Nate (Peter Klaus Peter Krause) has been striking a balance between the funeral business and the family role of a new father; the second David (Michael Hall Michael C. Hall) and his extremely emotional same-sex couple live outside, mainly in charge of the family business, but also work for the church; the youngest daughter Claire (Lauren Apollos Lauren Ambrose) is a troubled youth, artistically talented and in energetic puberty Mother Ruth (Frances Conroy Frances Conroy) wants to get closer to her children and grandchildren. They will also be touched by death, thinking about the meaning of a short life.
