Skipped Parts (2000)

Fantasy teenager Sam (Bagghou) and bohemian mother Lydia (Jennifer Jason Lee) move to remote Wyoming because his grandfather is running for governor. I'm afraid that Sam's illegitimate status and Lydia's chaotic life will make it difficult for him and bad for the campaign. New school, new environment, but Lydia is still partying every night; for Sam, the biggest change is to get to know his neighbor and classmate Pimali, and fall in love with this girl.
