This is the fifth time that Wahlberg and director Peter Berg have collaborated on a novel of the same name written by Robert B. Parker, written by Ace Atkins after his death, and one of eight suspense novels in a series centered on the hero Spenser, since the Lonely Survivor, the attack on Boston, and the Deep Sea Holocaust, 22 miles. Netflix has reached an agreement with Parker Legacy to create a series of films based on the role of Spenser. This film will be different from the novel, which tells the story of Spenser from a witty boxer to a private investigator in Boston. The film begins when Spenser is released from prison, he is stripped of his private detective license, and when he reveals a sensational murder and the truth behind the plot, he is pulled back into the dark crime world of Boston. Neil Moritz ("Fast and Furious" series "Prison break") produced and Sean O'Keefe wrote the screenplay.
