Splice (2009)

With the support of the big company Newstead, biological scientist Cliff Nicoli (Adrian Brody Adrien Brody) and girlfriend Elsa Custer (Sarah Polly Sarah Polley) conducted experiments on genetic recombination and made preliminary progress. However, due to funding and public opinion and other reasons, Newstead executives decided to cut off their support for their existing research. Cliff and Elsa didn't want to give up halfway, so they secretly carried out the experiment. They optimized the recombination of the genes, mixed with some of Elsa's genes, and finally gave birth to a strange-looking female monster. With the morality and conscience of scientists, Cliff is determined to kill the monster, while Elsa tries her best to protect it as if it were her own, and named it Zhuo Lun. Zhuo Lun grows up at a rapid speed and eventually becomes a girl with a unique sense of beauty (played by Delphine Chan é ac). In the process, Cliff and Elsa got deeper and deeper.
