Maggie (Melissa McCarthy Melissa McCarthy) and her son Oliver (Jayton Lieboch Jaeden Lieberher) live a life of mutual dependence. Under the great pressure of life, Maggie has to work overtime in the hospital to earn money, so she is naturally unable to take care of the young Oliver. So Maggie entrusts Oliver to her neighbor Vincent (Bill Murray Bill Murray), an elegant old man who looks personable. However, the real Vincent is grumpy, drunk, addicted to gambling, and even takes Oliver to nightclubs with stripper Dhaka (Naomi Wirtz Naomi Watts). Oliver witnessed Vincent's "evil deeds", but interpreted it with a childlike kind eye, and with the passage of time, Vincent and the little boy established a solid friendship.
