The story takes place in the 23 century, when the development of human science and technology has reached the stage of interstellar travel. Spock (Zachary Kunto Zachary Quinto), a boy born in Vulcan in 2230, is often ridiculed and bullied by his colleagues because his mother Amanda Grayson (Winona Ryder Winona Ryder) is human. Father Sarek (Ben Klaus Ben Cross) is a Vulcan diplomat, and Spock has struggled with his serious Vulcan logic education and his human emotions since childhood. When he grows up, Spock meets Kirk (Chris Pine Chris Pine) with the same ambition, and although they are in constant conflict, they gradually begin to understand each other through various task tests. The old captain of the Enterprise is Christopher Parker (Bruce Greenwood Bruce Greenwood), while the crew includes medical officer "Old Bones" McCoy (Carl Urben Karl Urban), Chief engineer Scott (Simon Peggy Simon Pegg), and communications officer Ursula.
