The Stargate: Stargate Universe was set after a team of explorers were transported to the long-abandoned ancient spaceship Destiny after successfully unlocking the secret of the ninth symbol of the Stargate. This spaceship was built by the ancients at the peak of their civilization. It was a major experiment of the ancients, carrying an important task. Unfortunately, this experiment was never completed. The explorers soon found that they were trapped on Destiny and could not return to Earth by their original route. They had to board Destiny and set out into the depths of the unknown universe. Along the way, the crew will get in touch with the Stargate that the ancients previously launched into the universe to realize the original mission of Destiny. These Stargates were placed centuries before Destiny was built, and the window in which Destiny can synchronize its course is very short. Once you miss one of them, it's hard to find it later. In addition, Destiny will encounter countless new races, enemies and anecdotes during its journey.
