Mongolia under the influence of the Russian Revolution in 1918. The Mongolian herdsman Bell took his precious mink to the fortress market occupied by British intervention troops and Belarus. The businessman forcibly bought his mink at a low price. He was so humiliated that he clashed with the businessman angrily and finally fled to the desert. He joined the guerrillas to fight the Belarusian army and was unfortunately arrested. During the execution, he was found to be a descendant of Genghis Khan, rescued and nurtured as a puppet. The Belarusian and British interventionists wanted to use him to better rule Mongolia. With a strong sense of national self-esteem, Bell resolutely embarked on the road of resisting alien slavery and oppression. In the name of the descendants of Genghis Khan, he led the nomadic peoples of Mongolia, swept away the residual clouds with the wind, and expelled the alien invaders. This film is a masterpiece that Pudovkin, a famous film director of the former Soviet Union, won the highest praise in the western world. Contrary to Eisenstein, Pudovkin depicts a protagonist and vividly portrays Bell, an enlightened Mongolian herdsman. The film has a strong ethnographic color and realistically reproduces the life of the Mongolian nomads and the grand scene of Buddhist events held in Lama monasteries. The whole film has a complete narrative structure and is a magnificent masterpiece. It is a mink.
