In order to calm down and study knowledge, the honest mathematician David Summer (Dustin Hoffman Dustin Hoffman) works with his wife Amy (Susan George Susan George) to return to his old house in the English countryside. Amy's sexy and bold dress attracted the vulgar eyes of the men in the village, while David's seemingly cowardly appearance made them more fearless. One day, they led David out of the house in the name of hunting, and then gang-raped Amy. David could only smile in the face of all these humiliations. One night, the moron Niels mistakenly killed the girl he wanted, and in a hurry he fled into David's house. Angry villagers asked David to hand over Niels, and after being refused, they tried to force their way in. The angry David couldn't stand it and went on a killing spree.
