A robbery caused by a poorly made diamond involves Mel and Franny in a race against time. Mel is a career criminal and a single mother. She took the startled Franny as her hostage, and Detective Ingrid pursued them. Along the way, the friction pair met an underground organization in Berlin that also wanted to take away money and diamonds, and they had to get rid of the stolen goods. As the detective gets closer and closer to the underground, Franny has a crush on Mel and decides to help the man who hijacked him. The two soon became perfect partners.
