The story takes place in the famous French resort of Rivera, where Dick (Jason Robards Jason Robards) and his wife Nicole (Jennifer Jones Jennifer Jones) are having a good holiday with their children. It was the National Day of the United States, and Dick decided to hold a grand dinner to celebrate the National Day. On the night of the banquet, all kinds of celebrities gathered here, including the handsome young soldier Tom (Sisal Danova Cesare Danova), who always coveted Nicole's beauty and wealth. In contrast, the sexy and gorgeous Rosemary (Jill St. John Jill St. John) has been making eyes at Dick and danced with alcohol, which happened to be seen by Nicole and made her jealous. Once upon a time, Dick was a psychiatrist and Nicole was his patient. After marrying Nicole, Dick gave up his career ideal and indulged in the enjoyment of money all day.
